Pre-promotional Supervisor Training (PST)

The PST program is design to help develop internal promotion candidates into JBS Supervisors. Candidates for this program must have at least 6 months tenure with JBS, an excellent safety record and may be nominated by existing JBS management. The goal of the PST program is to expose internal non-exempt hourly workers to all areas of management within JBS. Not only does this allow the candidate to comprehend all areas of the business – but it allows him or her to receive an in-depth exposure to all aspects of the expectations and requirements of a supervisor before accepting the promotion.

Areas of training focus include, but are not limited to:
• Operations Management- all areas from “live to box”
• Human Resources Administration
• Policy and Procedures
• Employee Relations
• Payroll Administration
• Labor Management
• Health and Safety
• Leadership Training
• Team Building

Continuing Education
• Facility “4x4x4” monthly supervisor training
• Seminars and certifications
